Skansen is the world’s oldest open-air museum, founded in 1891 by Artur Hazelius. Here you will find historical buildings and environments from all over Sweden, traditional crafts and folk culture, as well as Nordic wildlife and exotic animals. The park also includes gardens, farmsteads, the Baltic Sea Science Center, and spaces for music, dance, and seasonal celebrations.
