Discover Skansen with our online audio guides

Let us take you on a guided tour around selected parts of Skansen – listen and find out more about Sweden’s history, flora and fauna. Our audio guides are available in Swedish, English, German, Spanish and French.

  • The audio guide offers three different walking tours to choose from. They take approximately 1 hour or 2 hours to complete, but you’re welcome to take your time and explore other interesting places you discover along the way.

    You can also choose to listen to individual audio tracks or use the map to navigate to a specific location.

  • Tips and practical information
    • Choose to listen in Swedish, English, German, Spanish, or French.
    • For the best experience, we recommend using headphones.
    • Use your mobile data connection or connect to Skansen’s Wi-Fi network, Skansen_guest.
    • Please note that our historic buildings and heritage environments have varying opening hours. If you can’t go inside today, you’re still welcome to enjoy the surroundings.
    • Most of the audio tracks are AI-narrated, while some of the Swedish tracks are narrated by a human voice.
