Fishtalk – learn more about the Baltic Sea
14 June 2026, 11:00, 14:30 10min
At the Baltic Sea Science Center, our aquariums showcase habitats from coastal archipelagos to the open sea.
Our aquariums showcase underwater environments ranging from coastal archipelagos to the open sea. They feature various water systems with both brackish water and water with relatively high salinity. Dive in and experience the Baltic Sea’s incredible diversity!
Students can experience life beneath the surface and actively investigate various questions and phenomena. Did you know that schools in Stockholm and Huddinge municipalities can book free educational sessions?
The Baltic Sea we know today is a young part of the world’s oceans, less than 3,000 years old. Before that, it has been both a lake and a sea with varying salinity, and it continues to change.
Take the opportunity to learn more about the Baltic Sea at your own pace or join one of our animal talks. Did you know you can follow our audio guides throughout the center or book a private tour?
