On 23–24 May 2026, the park comes alive with play, music and a joyful “Tjolahopp tjolahej” atmosphere for the whole family. Enjoy a colourful musical theatre performance at Sollidenscenen and take part in music, market stalls and fun activities inspired by Pippi and other beloved characters from Astrid Lindgren’s stories.
Pippi is hosting a farewell party in the garden together with her father Efraim and the sailors from the Hoppetossa. The world’s strongest girl is heading back to the South Seas, and all children are invited to celebrate her. The party has barely begun when Miss Prysselius and the policemen Kling and Klang show up, trying to take Pippi to the children’s home. And what will Tommy and Annika say? Come and sing along!
The one-day ticket gives you admission to Skansen for the entire day, including Tjolahopp, the Baltic Sea Science Center and Lill-Skansen.
The annual pass serves as your admission ticket for 12 months
Would you like to give an annual pass as a gift? Then you can purchase a gift voucher.
Dive into the haystack or try games from your great-grandparents’ childhood. Roll a hoop, walk on stilts, hop in a sack, and explore other classic games from days gone by.
Do you want freckles just like Pippi? Come get your freckles painted, do crafts or try solve the quiz!
Balance on the rooftop ridge just like Mardie or challenge a friend on the ground-is-lava obstacle course!
At the market stalls you can buy all sorts of treats and treasures, from toys to accessories and sweets.
Do like Emil and carve your own wooden figure! We show you how to carve wood safely. Children under seven use sandpaper instead.
Then borrow a Lilla Gubben (“Little Old Man”) hobby horse and jump as high as you can over the hurdles in Pippi’s hobby horse course.
Take a ride on the classic attractions or try your luck at the raffles and the traditional fish pond game.
Come to the stable to meet our zoo keepers and learn more about horses.
