Ghosts, ghouls and spooky tales
Listen to tales of ghosts, ghouls and other spooky creatures in Back-Mats Cottage at Mora Farmstead. The stories are told in both Swedish and English.
Times: 11.00–13.00 and 14.00–16.00.

As the autumn darkness falls, Skansen comes alive with ghosts, dancing devils and other quirky characters. Enjoy trick-or-treating, a pumpkin disco, a maze, shows and just the right amount of spookiness for the whole family.
Dates: 24, 28, 29, 30 and 31 October, at 15.00–19.00.

Skeleton School
Drop by and learn all about animal skeletons and discover fascinating facts about different species – fun and educational for all ages. At the Carnivore House by the lynx enclosure.

Pay an autumn visit to Skansen’s animals and get to know them through the day’s animal talks. Discover which animals are awake and active as the temperature drops – and which are beginning to prepare for winter.

Stepping through the gates of Skansen is like stepping into another time. In the houses and farmsteads throughout the park, discover stories of how people lived in Sweden in the past, in different parts of the country and at different points in history.
