Skansen for everyone

Many people will take the shuttle service to Skansen this day. We recommend arriving in good time. The booking address for the transport service is Sollidsbacken 9.

Free admission on this day for participants in daily activity programmes, members of FUB Stockholm, FUB Stockholm County, Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan, RBU, the Swedish Down Syndrome Association and Autism Stockholm County. School groups from adapted schools are also admitted free of charge. Personal assistants free of charge.

Admission is free for those attending an adapted primary school and High school. The school must print out and take with you the Skansen certificate that you leave in our entrance.

Solliden Gate is located at Sollidsbacken 9. Accessible transport services and taxis can use this entrance to pick up and drop off visitors at the turning area behind Restaurant Solliden, at the top of Skansen Hill. Please note that, for safety reasons, accessible transport vehicles cannot drive all the way to Sollidenplan.

The main entrance is at the front of the museum, facing Djurgårdsvägen. The address is Djurgårdsslätten 49. Just inside the main entrance, there is a platform lift from street level up to Spegeldammen. The platform lift can accommodate wheelchairs, mobility scooters and pushchairs (maximum weight 500 kg). From Spegeldammen, an escalator and some steep paths lead further up into the park.

Guides and assistants have free entry on presentation of a guide/assistant certificate or written certificate.

Toilets adapted for wheelchairs are available at the Main entrance, the Bollnäs Square, Skogens Hus and at the Children’s Zoo. With permobile, the toilets in Skogens hus and at the Bollnäs Square and the Main entrance are accessible.

All programs and locations are accessibility adapted.
