Guided Tour of the Printer’s Home

Join a guided tour and discover everyday life in 1840s Sweden. What was daily life like, and what ideas shaped society? The tour is primarily conducted in Swedish.

  • The Printer’s Home depicts a modest middle-class home where family life and work took place side by side. Here, everyday concerns meet the big questions of the time about freedom and individual rights. Using the setting as a starting point, your guide explores how people lived and the new ideas that were changing society.

    Meeting point: The yard outside the Printer’s Home

    The guided tour is included in your admission ticket to Skansen. No advance booking is required. A maximum of 20 participants per tour.
