A self-guided audio walk for children and adults to enjoy together during the Christmas season at Skansen. Explore the historic houses and farmsteads as you search for traces of the legendary figure that is the gårdstomte – the mysterious guardian of Swedish farms in times gone by.

    Listen to all the stories or choose just a few – scan the QR codes around Skansen to hear stories about the gårdstomte and how, according to Swedish folklore, he lived alongside people and animals on farms for generations.
