Studio Workshop: Draw Tobacco Plants

The Snus and Match Museum invites you to an open house! Visitors are welcome to draw living tobacco plants.

  • The Snus and Match Museum invites visitors to an open house in the Ljunglöf Salon on 23–24 May, 11.00–14.00.

    Visitors are welcome to draw living tobacco plants. The subjects are plants of the Swedish Virginia variety Alida, known for its pink flowers and its place in the history of Swedish tobacco cultivation.

    The programme is led by one of our museum assistants, who is also an artist, and introduces the tobacco plant as a botanical subject. No previous drawing experience is required. Drawing materials are provided on site. The Ljunglöf Salon is located on the entrance level.

    Visitors are welcome to join for a short while or stay longer and work at their own pace in the museum’s newly renovated meeting space.
