Skansen-Akvariet

At Skansen-Akvariet you can discover everything from monkeys, fish and crocodiles to scorpions, parrots and frogs. Welcome to an exciting and exotic part of Skansen.

  • There is always something new happening at Skansen-Akvariet! Here, you can learn about animals and experience them up close. Since its opening in 1978, the aquarium has been continuously rebuilt and expanded with new animals and experiences. Over the years, Skansen-Akvariet has become more of an ark than just an aquarium.

     Skansen-Akvariet is independently operated and also serves as a breeding centre for endangered small monkeys and prosimians.

  • Skansen-Akvariet Shop

    You are welcome to visit the Skansen Akvariet shop without paying admission to the aquarium. The well-stocked shop offers a wide range of animal-themed products for both children and adults.

    If you love snakes and lizards, you can buy your very own small exotic plastic pets or a cuddly soft toy! You will also find a variety of animal toys, books, postcards, mugs, thermos flasks, sparkling stones and small gifts perfect for a party fishing game. In addition, we also sell ice cream and sweets.
