Musical: Wash to the future

Welcome to the musical “Wash to the future" where we take you on a thrilling journey back in time to the households of the 1950s and heartwarming family life!

  • In this charming production, you’ll meet the Alinder family as they face a completely new challenge in their everyday life.   – When dad Hasse one day receives a mysterious gift from his workplace, a washing machine, he has no idea it will be the catalyst for a series of unforeseen adventures.

    “Wash to the future” is a playful musical experience that throws us back to a time when laundry time was a central part of household chores. Through humor and song, it reflects on how the introduction of the washing machine changed the dynamics in Swedish family homes, especially for women. By exploring this historical upheaval, it provides both laughter and insights into the development of our society.
