Boat building

Here on the island Offerholmen, you can meet boat builders from Skeppsholmen’s school who will demonstrate the unique craftsmanship of clinker-built boats.

  • At the end of 2021, the Nordic tradition of building and sailing clinker boats was entered on the UNESCO list
    Since 2022 Skansen and Skeppsholmen’s school are working together to promote this unique crafting heritage.
