Arturs kafé

In what was until 1938 the central entrance to the open-air museum Skansen you will find Arturs Kafé. The beautiful Hazeliusporten from 1907 has been carefully renovated and refined into a Viennese café with a bar and outdoor seating.

  • This café explores classic flavours and the menu includes dishes such as chevre chaud, open-faced sandwiches and Artur’s traditional swedish shrimp sandwich. Every day three dishes of the day are offered: salad, soup, and the hot dish of the day. On the sweet side you can find classic pastries such as éclairs, cookies and delicious cakes while the drinks list boasts cold pilsner, classic wines and bubbles as well as dry French cider.

    Behind the operation is Susanne Helin, who has been running Flickorna Helin’s café in another of Skansen’s buildings, Skånska Gruvan, for many years. For menus and bookings, read more on Flickorna Helin’s own website.

  • Arturs kafé located outside the Skansen area and during the off-season the entrance at Hazeliusporten is closed. You can see all opening hours in our calendar.
