Summer at Skansen

Welcome to Skansen – our park is open daily!

An open park this summer –

At Skansen you can go for a walk in one of Stockholm's most beautiful parks, watch animals and experience our historic environments outdoors.

Personnel, dressed in historical clothes, move around in the park and are happy to tell you about the museum and what's open today. You can also stay updated through our calendar, and via during your visit.

The zoo

The zoo is full of life as usual. You can see seals, moose, lynx and maybe some bear cubs. Take the opportunity to learn more about Skansen's animals and species conservation work.

Baltic Sea Science Center

The aquarium, Baltic Sea Science Center, is open. Be sure to dive into the Baltic Sea you didn't know existed. New this spring is that you can listen to a guided tour as you walk through the house.

The lemurs have come out to enjoy the spring sunlight. You can also see monkeys, frogs, spiders, scorpions, snakes and lizards.

Children's activities

For the youngest the playgrounds Ormen, Ekorrparken and Päronparken are open with precautions being taken. If you've planned to leave your pacifier at Lill-Skansen there is a new place outdoors where you can do this and get your pacifier certificate.

Eat at Skansen

Bring your own picnic or get some coffee or lunch at one of our restaurants. Several of the restaurants and cafés are open.
