Kronberg's Studio

Kronberg’s Studio comes from Djurgården in Stockholm. The painter Julius Kronberg (1850–1921) built himself a studio here in 1889, extending it in 1912.

Julius Kronberg produced large-scale paintings, notably in Stockholm at the Royal Palace, at the Swedish National Theatre, the Adolf Fredrik Church and the Hallwyl Palace. He was also a portrait painter. The bronze bust on the right of the hall is the work of the sculptor Carl Milles.
