Finn Settlement

Finn settlements were found in the relatively inaccessible forested areas populated by Finnish farmers since the 15th century. The small hut at Skansen’s Finn settlement was home to a family with several children in the mid-19th century. The children learnt to work with materials such as birch bark and wool from an early age.
