Ekshärad Farmstead

This well-to-do farmstead from the western Swedish province of Värmland was where the juror Per Larsson lived and worked from the mid-19th century. Next to the entrance hall is the court room. Here, criminal cases and disputes were heard. A generous Christmas spread is still set out in the large kitchen every year. On the upper floor is the spacious function room, where people came together to celebrate weddings and public holidays with feasting and dancing.
