Djurgården Pavilion

This pavilion was built in the 1820s to a design by Fredrik Blom (1781–1853). He is noted for his buildings in the Empire style. The Djurgården Pavilion is one of Blom’s famous portable buildings, the walls being held together by large bolts at the corners. The bolts are hidden by boards which imitate stone cornices.
