Delsbo Farmstead

In the central Swedish province of Hälsingland, flax was grown at many farmsteads. This provided a raw material for beautiful textiles and for versatile linseed oil, bringing in extra money. The Delsbo farmstead has magnificent wall paintings and rooms for entertaining and guests. Nearby are the Flax Mill and the Fulling Mill, which were used in the demanding work of producing linen thread and woollen cloth.
